MagicDust / CosmicDust Mod
This Mod makes Drive #1 smoother and also allows you to run the Master Volume higher on the clean tones. Installation is simple: Remove power from the amp and place the Standby switch in "operate" position (this bleeds off all the voltages inside the amp). Refer to the before and after pictures and install a resistor as shown. The value can be tweaked to your liking anything between 47k and 470k. 270k is recommended, smaller makes the Clean volume softer and the Drive #1 more aggressive.

Refer to the before and after pictures, remove the existing 10k resistor and replace with a 270k resistor, install a 220k resistor to the ground turret as shown. The 220k value can be tweaked to your liking anything between 47k and 470k. 220k is recommended, smaller makes the volume softer so you can run the master even higher.
This Mod is probably not needed on the CosmicDust due to it's lower wattage
